UFC fighters predict the outcome of tomorrow’s fight between the fighters who are champions in their own sports
CONOR MCGREGOR will swap the Octagon for the ring this weekend in the multi-million dollar fight that unites UFC and boxing fans alike.
Fighters in McGregor’s own discipline have shared their predictions for the big fight in Las Vegas
The 29-year-old Irishman has the support of many UFC fighters who champion not only his fighting prowess, but also for his mind games and ability to ‘get inside Mayweather’s head’.
McGregor’s 21 wins pale in comparison to Mayweather’s 49, but with two years out of the boxing game Mcgregor may be quicker with his movement than Mayweather.
Paul Craig, UFC light heavyweight said: “I think the fight will be 100miles an hour from the first bell and McGregor will get the victory.”
Commentating on the fight at the T-mobile arena is Dan Hardy, who is intrigued at the different qualities and game plans that both men will bring to the ring.
The fellow UFC welterweight fighter said: “Floyd Mayweather doesn’t think offensively, he thinks defensively and McGregor is the opposite.”
Hardy noted that McGregor’s punching power would assist him in the fight, but wasn’t sure how his left hand would land when he had boxing gloves on.
Despite being KO’d by McGregor, Eddie Alvarez is confident that it is McGregor’s time and he could win the fight if he can land solid punches in the first four rounds, but would struggle if it were to go further.
The UFC lightweight said:”He understands boxing.
“I think that Conor can put Floyd away and land a punch, it it goes into the fifth, sixth and seventh it becomes a technical boxing match and I think it could look one sided and Floyd could win by TKO.”
During the build up to the fight, McGregor has said that he is more ‘dangerous and ruthless’ following the birth of his son .
This is something that Britain’s only UFC champion can agree with, Michael Bisping of the middleweight category said: “His unorthodox style might well be his biggest advantage in this fight.”

UFC’S women strawweight champion nicknamed the famous UFC fighter as ‘King Conor’ and believes he can win.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk said: “Of course Mayweather is one of the greatest athletes and he is one of the best boxers of all time, but Conor’s mental game is on a different level.
But not all UFC fighters are backing the Irishman for the win.
Kevin Lee, who is tipped to be McGregor’s next opponent, favours Mayweather, he said: “I think that Floyd is not just a better boxer, but a smarter fighter, a championship level fighter.
“Floyd is preparing well though and with the right game plan, comes the victory.”
He did however acknowledge that Mayweather has never fought a fighter as unpredictable as McGregor, or with his unorthodox movement.
