The late NBA star’s partner Vanessa Bryant and children Natalia, 20, Bianka, 6, and Capri, 3, marched on March 13 to honor the long-term setup of his handprints beyond the renowned TCL Chinese Theatre inHollywood Dressed in black, Vanessa and her women revealed Kobe’s imprints– which was at first made back in 2011– prior to Natalia provided a moving speech in honor of her daddy.
Describing Kobe the “MVP of girl dads,” the design informed the crowd, “Being his daughter is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I hope to continue to embody and cherish the many lessons he has taught me.”
Kobe was the very first professional athlete to have his hands and feet inscribed in cement at the renowned landmark. While celeb handprints there are typically switched out for others with time due to minimal areas, the Lakers legend’s imprints will now be an irreversible component in the theater’s yard– an honor that Natalia called “truly astounding.”
