Earlier this week (16th April), a video of a younger Indonesian woman being bullied by her classmates surfaced on Twitter, rapidly garnering nationwide consideration.
Based on the Jakarta Post, the video shows 12-year-old Nabila from SD 1 state elementary school in West Java, who appeared tearful and angry when her classmates began to tease her for her school shoes. The young girl, who can be seen wearing her school uniform, confronted three of her classmates who said that her shoes were bought using her parents’ money.
Nonetheless, Nabila rapidly retorted, saying that she purchased footwear along with her personal cash that she earned from accumulating trash. The woman will be heard talking in Sudanese, saying,
“Each my dad and mom left me after I was little, not like the remainder of you.”
The woman’s emotional response, nevertheless, made the three classmates giggle, seemingly ignoring what she mentioned.
Based on Nabila’s trainer, the incident occurred on Saturday at 1pm, outdoors faculty hours. The incident transpired after one of many woman’s schoolmates by chance stepped on her footwear, making her upset.

The video quickly went viral, with many Indonesian netizens wanting to assist Nabila. One Twitter person really managed to seek out Nabila and visited her house. She lives along with her grandparents and collects trash to earn a dwelling.

The person, named Ahmad, then began a crowdfunding marketing campaign for Nabila and her grandparents, which managed to lift over Rp360 million (approx. RM106,000) thus far.
