Anthony Joshua will not be exposed to the elements against Wladimir Klitschko

So what plans are in place if the fighters are exposed to the elements?

Will Joshua and Klitschko fight in the rain?

Whatever the weather, the two fighters will be protected by a huge canopy above the ring.

They will also wear specialised footwear to prevent their feet from getting soaked.

But despite having his boots protected, David Haye complained about his footing during his fight with Klitschko on a wet night in Hamburg.

The ring walk could  also be shortened in the event of bad weather.

Both fighters are planning to walk around the perimeter of the pitch before the fight but could make a quick dash directly from the entrance to the ring if the weather takes a turn.

Will the Wembley roof be closed?

Unlike Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, the retractable roof at Wembley does not cover the entire pitch.

And there are no plans to close it in the event of bad weather.

So while the fighters will remain dry, fans could get soaked.
