Following the tape’s release, 5 of his gamers were considered disqualified to play, and the group was placed on probation for the 2021 season. The school then ended Coach Probst’s agreement.
Shelton Felton actioned in to change the 63- year-old, who opened about the scandal for the very first time in a current interview with Saturday Down South.
“It was just a bunch of B.S. talk,” Rush stated of the accusations versus him. “That’s all it was. I wish I could take back some of those things, but I can’t. You just have to own up to them.”
Though his Twitter bio still checks out, “Head Football Coach at Valdosta High School,” Rush presently isn’t training anywhere and he hasn’t eliminated (another) resurgence.
“I’m content to be a dad right now, and I’ll see what life and the good Lord has in store for me,” he informed WNSP-FM 105.5. “If it’s me not coaching ever again, then so be it.”
