CONOR MCGREGOR has certainly taken the sport of UFC to another level.
As outspoken out of the cage as he is skilled in it, McGregor, who is nicknamed “The Notorious” has helped turn UFC major box office.
Here, we take a look just how much the fighting Irishman is worth, and how the sport has made him as rich as he is.
What is Conor McGregor’s net worth?
Conor McGregor’s net worth is believed to be around $22million (£17.5million).
That is made up of $18million (£14million) in salary and winnings, and $4million (£3million) on sponsorship and endorsements.
He is the only UFC fighter to appear on Forbes’ top 100 list of top earners in the world.
To put it into comparison, Nate Diaz, who holds a win against McGregor, has a net worth of $3million (£2.35million) based on career earnings and endorsements.
What was The Notorious’ richest fight?
McGregor earnt $3million (£2.3million) for the rematch against Diaz. It was hugely anticipated because Diaz had beaten McGregor in their first fight five months earlier, with the Irishman tapping out on a rear-naked choke.
And the Irish MMA expert got revenge in their second meeting, taking a points victory.
McGregor had become the first UFC fighter to hit the $500,000 (£400,000) purse mark back in December 2015, when he defeated cage legend Jose Aldo with a knockout after just 13 seconds.
He is set to be the first ever fighter to hit the $100million-mark on total fight earnings and winnings.
What sponsorship deals does McGregor have?
The Irish fighter rakes in around $2million in sponsorship each year.
He currently has deals with Reebok, Bud Light, Monster Energy, Volvo and Dethrone Royalty Brand.
He also has a deal with nutrition brand BSN.
In a statement he released after signing the contract, he said: “I take my nutrition very, very seriously. You can’t cut corners in this game. You must align yourself with the best in each field, and that is what I have done.
“BSN is leading the way in nutrition and supplementation.”
What homes does the UFC champ own?
McGregor spent $2million (£1.5million) on a new mansion, called Ladycastle in County Kildaire, Ireland, following his victory against Aldo in 2015.
He was previously holed up with his parents in their home in the Laraghcon estate in Lucan when travelling back to Ireland from the US.
It’s a far cry from where he grew up in Crumlin, an area of Dublin, where he grew up.
Crumlin is well known for being a crime hotspot on the Emerald Isle.
What cars does McGregor own?
McGregor is well known for being a “petrolhead”,
He is believed to have eight cars, including a gleaming white BMW i8, Cadillac Escalade and a high-powered Mercedes, according to SundayWorld.
But his pride and joy is his a Rolls Royce Dawn, one of the most luxurious Rolls Royce’s for sale, where he shared a photo on his Instagram page.
They can retail as much as $350,000 (£275,000) on the market.
He even gifted close members of his family with a BMW each following the winnings he bagged from the Aldo fight.
How much has McGregor been offered for his next fight?
Who McGregor fights next has been well-talked about, but little has actually been sorted with regards to this.
The Irishman has said he is taking time out of the cage to support his partner, who is pregnant with his first child.
However, the UFC star has reached an agreement to fight Floyd Mayweather.
A prospective “decider” against Nate Diaz (both fighters have one victory apiece against each other) is also a possibility, and McGregor could well eclipse his $3million purse from the earlier rematch.
