Head coach Warren Gatland named his Lions squad on April 19, 2017.

Announcements in recent years have come after the European Cup semi-finals, but this year everything was confirmed before.

Those club fixtures are set to take place over the weekend of April 21, 22 and 23, 2017.

What is the British and Irish Lions squad?

Jonathan Joseph was the surprise selection in the 2017 Lions squad, while Dylan Hartley became the third successive England captain to miss out.

The full squad is as follows:

BACKS: Biggar, Daly, J Davies, Farrell, Halfpenny, Henshaw, Hogg, Joseph, Murray, North, Nowell, Payne, Sexton, Seymour, Te’o, Watson, Webb, L Williams, Youngs.
