LEINSTER face a tough trip to France as they look to win European rugby’s showpiece for the first time since 2012.
Standing in their way is Clermont Auvergne, who have yet to taste any success in the European Rugby Champions Cup but have reached two of the last four finals.
Here is all the latest information as the two sides battle it out for a place at the final in Edinburgh.
When is Clermont vs Leinster and where will the match be played?
Clermont will host Leinster at the Stade Gerland in Lyon.
The stadium is the former home of Olympique Lyonnais football club, who moved to a new stadium, which also coincidentally hosted last year’s European Rugby Champions Cup final.
The match will kick off at 3pm on Sunday, April 23.
What TV channel is Clermont vs Leinster on?
Coverage of the European Rugby Champions Cup is split between Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Clermont vs Leinster will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 3HD.
The programme will being at 2.30pm.
Have the two sides met before?
Clermont and Leinster have met five times before with the French side winning three and the Irish side winning two.
But Leinster won probably the most important clash between the sides in 2012.
They went to Bordeaux and won 19-15 in the semi-final with a try from Cian Healy proving decisive.
