The British and Irish Lions take on Provincial Barbarians on Saturday, June 3.

The match will kick off at 8.35am UK time (7.35pm local time).

Whangarei will be hosting the match at the 30,000-capacity Toll Stadium.

Sky Sports hold the rights to the Lions Tour.

All matches will be shown on Sky Sports 1 and 1HD.

Coverage of the match against the Provincial Barbarians will begin at 8am, with an hour-long preview show at 7am.

What is the latest team news?

The Lions are likely to field a mixed team of likely starters against the All Blacks and fringe players.

Billy Vunipola will play no part as he has withdrawn from the tour after injuring his shoulder.

James Haskell has been called up to the squad as a replacement.

Ben Youngs also withdrew from the tour on compassionate grounds after finding out his sister-in-law was terminally ill, with Greig Laidlaw replacing him.

Who are the Provincial Barbarians?

The Provincial Barbarians are mainly made up of semi-professional players from New Zealand’s provincial competition.

Exceptions had been made for to allow players from the Southern Hemisphere’s first class Super Rugby tournament to be called up.

But all six Super Rugby players who made the squad have been withdrawn by their clubs.
