“[Kaitlyn] existed from start to end up to offer me recommendations, and the something that her and I both settled on is we remain in 2021, so individuals are beginning to be a bit more open and a bit more comfy, however there are still individuals who see it as a criminal activity, a preconception, a taboo,” Katie describes. “So I’m just kind of reinserting that back into the conversation and on the screens, and hoping people start those conversations.”
Katie states she isn’t scared of letting her family and friends enjoy the season, partially since they’re more open than she is in some cases. But no matter what, she’s not letting anybody join her watch celebrations.
“I mean, single or engaged, I would be watching this alone,” she states. “I can’t watch it with my family or my friends, seeing myself make out with all these guys. I just need to be alone and embrace it and process it myself.”
