Stowman was enjoying a huge push by the company having defeated Roman Reigns at last month’s Payback.
He was set to face, and defeat, the man who retired the Undertaker at the next PPV Extreme Rules on Sunday June 4.

He had been working with Reigns in the build-up to their rematch.
However, last week’s Raw angle that saw him savagely attacked by his foe was produced to effectively write Strowman off TV while he recuperates from his op.
