Twitter on Wednesday stated it’s presenting a tool that lets users report misleading information on the 2020 United States election. People can report material they think consists of incorrect details on where or how to vote or sign up to vote. They can likewise call out material that “intends to suppress or intimidate someone from voting,” in addition to anything declaring an incorrect association with or impersonating a prospect, chosen authorities, political celebration or federal government entity.

“This tool has been an important aspect of our efforts to protect the health of the Twitter conversation for elections around the globe, including in India, the UK, and across the EU,” the business tweeted.

Twitter states the tool will be readily available throughout “key moments” of the election.
