Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard Trial: Verdict REVEALED

Amber Heard is refrained from doing with Johnny Depp yet.

On June 2, Elaine Bredehoft, a lawyer who represented the Aquaman starlet throughout the libel trial, shared that her customer “absolutely” prepares to appeal the June 1 decision that ruled Heard was responsible for maligning her ex-husband.

“She has some excellent grounds for it,” Bredehoft stated on Today “We even had tried to get the UK judgment in to dismiss his case because he already had his shot. And that’s one of the issues. But also, a number of the evidentiary issues, there was so much evidence that did not come in.”

After 13 hours of considerations, a Virginia jury agreed Depp in his $50 million libel suit, which declared the starlet implicated him of abuse in a Washington Post op-ed. The Pirates of the Caribbean star was granted $10 million in countervailing damages and $5 million in compensatory damages. However, Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge Penney Azcarate later on lowered the compensatory damages to $350,000, which is the state’s statutory cap or legal limitation, making Depp’s overall damages $104 million.
