Barstool Sports creator Dave Portnoy is moneying in $2.76 million on UConn’s big win over Purdue on Monday night in the NCAA males’s national championship.
Portnoy tweeted the huge rating off a March 20 $600,000 wager on the Huskies winning the championship game. Portnoy’s bet was a moneyline wager put right before the NCAA competition started, and needed UConn to win 6 straight video games for it to settle for him. The bet settled at 3.6-to-1.
