    Another bar supervisor, David Nash, stated he saw a hooded suspect run from the scene while operating at The Village Inn in Hurst Street.

    ‘He just looked like an ordinary member of the public in the first instance. He was calm, I wouldn’t state he was rushed. He wasn’t recalling. He simply strolled straight past.

    ‘I couldn’t see any weapon at all. Obviously it was dark, he remained in dark clothes from what we might see. He didn’t state anything to anyone, as far as I know, in the location that we were.’
