Turns out Nicola Coughlan might’ve been seen on screen using a sailor fit rather of a ball dress.
The Bridgerton star informed BuzzFeed that she had actually at first auditioned for the function of Robin in Stranger Things prior to scheduling the function of Penelope Featherington years later on. While it is regrettable fans didn’t see Nicola sign up with the Steve’s Scoops Ahoy team, Nicola shared that, after seeing Maya Hawke handle the Stranger Things function, she recognized Maya “was far better than I ever would have been.”
She included, “It’s a good lesson to actors: Watch the stuff you didn’t get, because you’ll totally understand how it’s not personal.”
“You’re just right for some things,” Nicola stated, “and you’re not right for other things.”
As for being cast on Bridgerton, Nicola stated that the chance was too excellent to be real. She informed The New York Times in March that she was even careful about the casting, stating, “I should have been like, ‘This is amazing.’ Instead, I was like, ‘This is fishy. I don’t know about this.'”
