    A British male has actually passed away while holidaying with his sweetheart in Thailand, regional authorities state.

    The victim, believed to be a 31- year-old instructor, was discovered on March 19 in a shallow ditch outside a diving centre on the island of Koh Tao.

    Thai authorities apparently stated the case is still open without any arrests made since yet.

    However they think his death was a mishap.

    The body was discovered near Sairee Beach, among the island’s piece de resistances

    The Brit and his sweetheart were visualized using coordinating black vests printed with the words ‘Koh Tao Pub Crawl’.

    It’s not clear whether they were together on the night he died.

    The victim’s body was found around 150 metres from the shoreline by Sairee Beach, the island’s longest and most popular beach.

    A spokesperson for the Foreign Office said: ‘We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Thailand and are in touch with the local authorities.’

    Only a few days after the man’s death it was reported that another British tourist had died on the Thai mainland.

    Ryan Joseph Ralph, 24, was killed when he fell from a moving train in Ratchaburi province while travelling with his girlfriend.

    The couple were said to have been travelling toward Koh Tao.
