Britney Spears & & Justin Timberlake Battle On The iTunes Charts With ‘Selfish’ Songs
Oops! … Britney Spears fans did it once again.
This time, the “Toxic” vocalist’s stan army effectively united to stream her 2011 tune “Selfish” so it would exceed ex Justin Timberlake‘s brand-new single of the very same name on the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart.
Britney’s deep cut– a bonus offer track off her 2011 Femme Fatale album– reached number one on the chartJan 26, while Justin’s “Selfish,” launched less than 24 hours previously, sat at number 3.
The strategy to press past Justin’s tune on the chart was prepared on X, where Britney Army accounts advised their fans to stream her music in an effort to tamp down sales of Justin’s upcoming album, Everything I Thought I Was. His enjoy tune “Selfish” is the very first single off the 42- year-old’s upcoming record, set to drop March15
