On the hunt for a non-traditional wedding event, the previous model pitched a distinct concept to her nomadic fiancé.
“I loved summer camp more than anything growing up, so we incorporated some camp themes throughout the weekend, like field day, to really allow everyone to get to know each other,” Miller-Keyes described to People of welcoming their liked ones to a weekend at what they called Camp Bell near Unglert’s Colorado home town. (Post- weddings, the duo who satisfied on Paradise in 2019 altered their surnames to Bell, in honor of his late mom.)
But while everybody gamely remained in cabins and the couple kept the decoration very little to let the natural components shine, the food at theSept 23 reception rose far beyond your basic mess hall fare with Alaskan salmon and rib eye, plus a three-tiered vanilla cake and ice cream sandwiches.
“I need another word to describe the weekend other than perfect,” the bride-to-be gushed of the Carter Rose- photographed occasion, “but it really was.”
