Christie Brinkley is clapping back at the online giants.
The supermodel showcased her attractive makeup appearance and dynamic blue attire in a June 28Instagram However, not everybody was a fan of the 69- year-old’s selfie, which triggered her to upgrade her initial caption of “Downtown Girl” to call out the giants flooding her feed.
“Whoa Nelly!” Christie composed. “The Wrinkle Brigade is out in full force in the comment thread! They are the people that scan celebrities’ pages, hoping to find some cellulite, wrinkles, or anything that they can point to critique.”
She went on to discuss that individuals leaving mean messages may be predicting their own insecurities onto her, keeping in mind, “It should be somd [sic] kind of settlement for something they are doing not have.”
Despite resolving the impolite remarks, Christie clarified that they didn’t surpass the favorable feedback she got.
“There are others who pop up with messages so kind and valuable,” she continued. “Those are the comments that restore my faith and make my heart sing! Thank you sweet souls.”
