No, Meghan Markle was not in camouflage at King Charles III‘s crowning.
A strange theory professing that the Duchess of Sussex had actually gone to the May 6 crowning event incognito emerged today when an image of Sir Karl Jenkins, a Welsh author, at the crowning went viral. A variety of royal watchers thought that Karl was really Meghan sporting a phony mustache, shaggy wig and big glasses in order to fly under the radar at the royal event.
Now, in reaction to the online chatter, Karl required to social networks to clarify.
“I understand there has been a lot of interest in me since I appeared at the coronation of King Charles III,” the 79- year-old stated in a May 9 TikTok. “I was quite surprised that some people thought I was Meghan Markle in disguise.”
Explaining how he was at the crowning due to the fact that he dealt with a musical piece being carried out there, Karl continued with a laugh, “I look this way all the time!”
