It was a reunion years in the making.
On Netflix’s That ’90 s Show, a follow up series to That ’70 s Show, which premieres on the bannerJan 19, Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp repeat their functions as Red and Kitty Forman, respectively.
While the brand-new series moves the focus to their granddaughter Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), a couple of familiar faces handle drop in ol’ Point Place, Wisconsin– consisting of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who played Kelso and Jackie, respectively, on That ’70 s Show
In a special interview with E! News, Kurtwood and Debra Jo explained what made it so unique.
“It was just wonderful,” Kurtwood stated. “I had actually seen them, so did Debra Jo, when we did [Netflix’s] The Ranch Mila would occur. So, we had actually seen them. But to see them on that set and specifically taking off the method they make with their characters, that was actually something.”
Ashton starred on The Ranch, about 2 bros assisting to run the ranches run by their dad, played by Sam Elliott Both Kurtwood and Debra Jo made numerous visitor looks on the program, which ran for 4 seasons from 2016 to 2020.
