The ‘heartbreaking’ deaths of a mum and her child boy in Dublin last weekend are being dealt with as a murder-suicide.
Kate Donohoe, who remained in her 40 s, and seven-month-old Vincent were discovered dead in the upstairs bed room of their house in Clonee on Saturday afternoon.
Irish cops looked out by a pal of Ms Donohoe’s who ended up being concerned when they were not able to connect with her in the previous 24 hours.
It is thought the set, who were alone in the residential or commercial property, might have passed away a number of days prior to their bodies were found.
Gardai have actually stated they are not searching for anybody else in connection with the deaths.
Detectives are now waiting for post-mortem and toxicology outcomes, with the Irish Times reporting the focus of the examination is on what the set consumed in advance.
They were supposedly seen getting rid of a number of products, consisting of medications, for analysis.
Meath Dog Shelter, where Ms Donohoe offered, stated their personnel were ‘deeply saddened to hear the news of the loss of Kate and her son’.
A declaration included: ‘Kate offered her services to any pet that required aid throughoutIreland
‘She often groomed dogs for us that were badly in need and helped us to find homes for dogs too. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, her friends and those in the community affected by her passing.’
Former Solidarity TD for Dublin West, Ruth Coppinger, stated she was stunned at the ‘tragedy’ and revealed her compassion to Ms Donohoe’s friends and family, stating it was‘absolutely heartbreaking’
