But they weren’t alone.
After landing in the bottom 2 recently, Trevor Donovan and partner Emma Slater recuperated and likewise made a combined overall of 78 points, great for a tie at the top of the standings.
Things weren’t so rosy for Charli’s mama Heidi D’Amelio and her partner Artem Chigvintsev For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, they discovered themselves in the bottom 2, this time together with Jordin Sparks and her partner Brandon Armstrong
When it came time for the judges to vote, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli voted to conserve Jordin and Brandon, while Carrie Ann Inaba voted to conserve Heidi and Artem– leaving the decision in the hands of senior judge Len Goodman
