Some, like the U.K.’s Queer as Folk, starring a more youthful Charlie Hunnam, stimulated worldwide franchises, were adjusted into an effective Showtime dramedy and later on, a Peacock reboot. The L Word, the very first series to include an ensemble cast of lesbian and bisexual female characters, even stimulated their own truth program. And the FX series Pose made tv history by consisting of the biggest cast of transgender stars to play series regulars.
