A ten-year-old lady has actually passed away after consuming a cake her household bought from a bakeshop for her birthday.
Manvi and her whole household fell ill after taking in the birthday cake bought from a bakeshop in Patiala, Punjab, in what is thought to be a gastrointestinal disorder event.
In a video shared on social media, the young girl can be seen cutting the cake and celebrating just hours before her death.
Three hours after they had eaten the dessert, the entire family fell ill, reports local media.
Manvi was rushed to hospital the next morning and was put on oxygen and an ECG, but died soon after.
