Ariana Grande is putting her heart up in the reissue of her 2013 album Yours Truly
The vocalist discreetly honored her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who she dealt with on the breakout single “The Way,” when she dropped an upgraded variation of the record onAug 25.
At completion of a YouTube video for their remastered collab, the visuals fade to black while the words “Feat. Mac Miller” composed in white stayed on screen. On the track itself, an orchestral string area was included over Mac’s 2nd rap verse.
The revamp comes a years after the release of Your Truly, Ariana’s launching studio album.
“Happy ten year anniversary to a project that changed my life,” she composed on Instagram upon its re-release. “thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening and for growing with me every step of the way.”
In addition to a brand-new variation of “The Way,” the luxurious edition of Yours Truly consists of live efficiencies of “Baby I,” “Right There,” “Honeymoon Avenue,” “Daydreamin” and “Tattooed Heart.” To celebrate the celebration, Ariana assured fans a “celebration program” on her social networks accounts, consisting of a live efficiency video of “The Way” together with “some behind the scenes stuff we found” dropping onAug 30.
