Henry Cavill is not selling his cape for some extra armor.
Despite theDec 14 discovery that Cavill will no longer play Superman, the star will not be going back to play Geralt on Netflix’s The Witcher— the program he stepped down from after recording season 3.
Liam Hemsworth was revealed as Cavill’s replacement for the upcoming 4th season and, according to Deadline, those strategies are still in location. The outlet states Cavill’s exit was “amicable and Cavill’s choice.”
Still, that hasn’t stopped some fans of the Netflix dream drama from petitioning for Cavill to be re-hired, with one fan tweeting, “Is it too late for Henry to go back to The Witcher,” and another joking, “Liam Hemsworth presently tryna get video cameras rolling on The Witcher S4 like it’s a hurry-up offense and the previous play is under evaluation.”
