Ahead of the 2022 Oscars, we took a seat with the Minari starlet, who won the Best Supporting Actress prize at the 2021 awards reveal and asked her to clarify her post–Academy Awards life. According to Youn, her life mainly returned to regular after winning her Oscar with one secret distinction: People believe she’s wealthier than ever.
Specifically, one female fan wound up on Youn’s doorstep requesting for cash. “She was kneeling down on the street begging to see me,” Youn solely shown E!News “She wanted to have money from me. They think I got the award from the States, and then they think I have some sort of big money from the Oscars.”
