Lea Michele has actually gotten Jane Lynch‘s stamp of approval.
Michele– who was just recently verified to be signing up with the Broadway revival of Funny Girl— will be changing Beanie Feldstein as Fannie Brice, while Tovah Feldshuh will handle Lynch’s function ofMrs Brice. Lynch– who is leaving the musical at the end of the month– shared her ideas on her previous Glee co-star being cast.
“We have been in touch about it,” Lynch shown Deadline July12 “You understand, it was simply a truly strong concept to have Feldshuh and Lea best together. That’s the only factor [we won’t appear together.]”
She included, “I love her. She’s simply going to take this program and make it her own. I’m so happy she’s getting the chance in reality to do the program and not simply on Glee“
Following the news that Michele would be signing up with Funny Girl in September, the starlet shared her enjoyment about landing the function.
