In an unique chat with E! News, John Cameron Mitchell opened about his extremely prepared for representation of Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel. Back in April, it was revealed that the Hedwig and the Angry Inch author and star would be starring opposite Kate McKinnon in UCP’s Joe Exotic miniseries.
The 58-year-old star, who presently plays Aidy Bryant‘s employer on Shrill, stated he was “very excited” to deal with the wild function. In reality, John even compared Joe Exotic to his Shrill character Gabe as he’s “also a boss from Hell.”
As he continued, John kept in mind that he leapt at the opportunity to audition for the headline-making character, despite the fact that he had not auditioned for a part in a long time. “I haven’t auditioned for something in 25 years,” he solely informed E!
