From singing “Jack & Diane” to spilling on John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan
The singer-songwriter just recently exposed where he stands with the Sleepless in Seattle starlet following completion of their decade-long relationship in 2019.
“I love Meg Ryan,” Mellencamp informed Esquire in an interview released June13 “I went with her for ten years. She doesn’t love me so much. She’s a great girl. I’m just a s–tty boyfriend.”
Looking back at their time together, he likewise shared a memory from the early days of their love.
“Meg Ryan had just come out of her shell; I had just come out of my shell,” the artist remembered. “We started dating. And we decided to do things on our own instead of having people do stuff for us. We were so f–king lost. We didn’t know how to do anything. I’ve never checked out of a hotel by myself.”
Mellencamp then kept in mind one especially amusing minute when they shopped some groceries.
