Kellogg revealed Tuesday that it prepares to separate into 3 independent public business.

The business will spin off its North American cereal company and plant-based department, which represented about 20% of its earnings in 2015. The staying company includes its treats, noodles, worldwide cereal and North American frozen breakfast brand names, which completely represented about 80% of its 2021 sales.

“These businesses all have significant standalone potential, and an enhanced focus will enable them to better direct their resources toward their distinct strategic priorities,” CEO Steve Cahillane stated in a declaration.
