The international PC market might be supporting.

PC makers delivered 67.2 million systems in the 3rd quarter of 2018, a 0.1 percent boost from the very same duration in 2015, according to initial numbers launched Wednesday by Gartner, a marketing research company. The flat general number follows a 2nd quarter in which deliveries published a modest boost of 1.4 percent, the first off quarter in 6 years.

While need from customers stayed weak, strong organization sales buoyed the general market.

“The PC market continued to be driven by steady corporate PC demand, which was driven by Windows 10 PC hardware upgrades,” Mikako Kitagawa, primary expert at Gartner, stated in a declaration. “We expect the Windows 10 upgrade cycle to continue through 2020 at which point the upgrade demand will diminish.”

Lenovo hung on to its crown with a market share of 23.6 percent, up from 21.4 percent in the very same quarter a year previously. HP wasNo 2 with 21.8 percent, followed by Dell with 16 percent of the marketplace.

While the leading 3 handled to broaden their market share, Apple and Acer saw decreases in their shares of the PC market. Apple got theNo 4 position with 7.3 percent, whileNo 5 Acer took in 6.1 percent.
