Mama June Shannon‘s nest simply got a little larger.
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum was granted short-lived custody of her 11- year-old granddaughter Kaitlyn following the death of June’s child Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, according to numerous outlets.
June, 44, submitted a petition in Georgia for a modification in kid custody and “for emergency ex parte relief,” significance under emergency situation situations. She stated Kaitlyn relocated with her a month before Anna passed away of cancer in December which she’s been taking care of the tween considering that.
Anna never ever openly shared the identity of Kaitlyn’s daddy, although she raised her with ex-husband Michael Cardwell— in addition to their child Kylee, 8– before the couple’s 2017 split.
