RepublicanReps Marjorie Taylor Greene and George Santos both left the scene of growing demonstrations outside the Manhattan court house where previous President Donald Trump was arraigned Tuesday.

Greene and Santos signed up with pro-Trump protesters near the New York court house hours prior to Trump pleaded innocent to 34 felony counts. Greene was noted as a headliner for a 10: 30 a.m. rally arranged by the New York Young Republican Club.

But within minutes of their different arrivals, after press reporters and counterprotesters surrounded the legislators, both of them left the scene. Santos left prior to the demonstration’s main start time.

In Greene’s case, demonstrators with whistles and drums drowned her out soon after she reached the rally.

The conservative provocateur Greene, in an interview with Right Side Broadcasting, stated that they left the location after being “swarmed” by protestors.

“We were swarmed. Unbelievably swarmed,” Greene informed the outlet after she left the demonstrations.
