Adam Brody on the Possibility of The O.C. REBOOT
Melrose Place is opening up its doors once again.
Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga will be repeating their renowned characters from the ’90 s drama in a reboot with CBS Studios, a production source informs E!News
In addition to going back to the screen, both Leighton and Zuniga are producing the brand-new series in addition to Tiffany Grant, Jason Weinberg and author Lauren Gussis, whose previous credits consist of jobs Insatiable and Dexter
Originally produced by Darren Star, the initial Melrose Place followed the drama and love lives of a group of young people residing in LosAngeles The series very first aired in 1992 and ran for an effective 7 seasons before its ending ran in May of1999
In the brand-new revival, the group returns together after the death of a friend.
However, the reunion quickly “uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments and reveals new secrets,” according to the program’s logline, “throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”
