Don’t concern, Olivia Wilde is keeping her cool.
The Booksmart director shared her response after showing up to the 2023 Met Gala on May 1 in a gown that matched one used by fellow visitor Margaret Zhang
“Great minds,” Olivia composed on her Instagram Story May 2 together with a side-by-side picture of the set in their Karl Lagerfeld– influenced dress. “If you’re gonna twin with anyone, make it @margaretzhang.” The Vogue China editor reposted the favorable message and included, “CUE THE STRINGS.”
Both stars used cutout gowns with a gold violin concept, which were influenced by among the late designer’s 1983 pieces to fit with the Met Gala style “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
Olivia rocked a white variation of the dress by Chlo é designer Gabriela Hearst, while Margaret chose a black version of the search the red carpet.
Chlo é reimagined Karl’s style with a cape, embroidery and golden beads to form a “trompe l’oeil” or visual fallacy picture of a violin.
