Yeoh, who stars as the respectable sword-elf Scian in Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin, is weighing in on The Witcher‘s questionable choice to recast Geralt from Henry Cavill to Liam Hemsworth
“I think Henry did such an amazing job,” Yeoh specifically informed E!News “Let’s see what Liam has to bring, right? That’s how it is.”
Cavill himself initially revealed the choice, composing on InstagramOct 29, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4.”
The Justice League alum went on to validate that Hemsworth would be using up the mantle for The Witcher‘s next chapter. The news came simply days after Cavill exposed that he would be going back to the DC universe as Superman.
Fans weren’t precisely pleased by this choice, flooding Cavill’s remark areas with words of shock and appreciation.
“I’m really not happy about this,” one audience composed. “Why Liam Hemsworth? Sorry to state, however he’s not an excellent suitable for this [role].” Meanwhile, another included that Cavill was “literally made for that character.”
