It was a scandal that rocked the country.
On Wednesday, Aug. 11, FX launched a gripping brand-new teaser for the extremely expected return of American Crime Story. As E! News readers well understand, season 3 of the Ryan Murphy-produced anthology series, entitled Impeachment: American Crime Story, unloads the unsuitable relationship in between previous President Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
In the just-released teaser, whistleblower Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson) takes on versus Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein) in a West Wing corridor as tense sound bites play.
“The president kissed me,” the giddy young intern notes.
Eager for additional information, Tripp commands, “Tell me everything.”
As Lewinsky states her love for the president, Tripp recommends the lovestruck intern to keep “the blue dress,” including, “It would be smart to keep that, uncleaned, in your possession.”
It’s clear these ladies have various intents, with Lewinsky even panicking, “I promised him that I would not tell anyone.”
