Morgan Wallen is taking responsibility in his arrest.

Nearly 2 weeks after he was scheduled on careless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges in Nashville for supposedly tossing a chair off the roofing system of Chief’s Bar, the c and w star spoke up and dealt with the circumstance.

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” he wrote on X, previously referred to as Twitter, April19 “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

Wallen added, “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe.”

The 30- year-old was taken into authorities custody on April 7 after officers stationed outside the bar saw a chair falling from above, per arrest records examined by regional outlet WKRN. Upon examination into the event, authorities apparently discovered monitoring video footage proving Wallen “lunging an object over the roof,” which stands at 6 stories above the street.
