Entertaining kids isn’t constantly simple– particularly 4-year-olds. If my young child had his method, he would view tv all the time. So, I’m continuously on the hunt for screen-free toys that will keep him captivated and exercise his creativity. Easier stated than done. That is, till I discovered the Toniebox, a screen-free toy for kids 3 and up, that utilizes storytelling and singalong tunes to keep them engaged. And my boy is consumed. Best of all, you can purchase it for $30 less through Amazon’s Big Spring Sale from now till the 25 th.

How the Toniebox works is basic– you link it to your WiFi and set it up through the app. Then you get your “Tonies” which are characters that each have their own set of stories and/or tunes, and they can be Disney characters, characters from cherished books, instructional characters, and more (you purchase those independently). Place the Tonie on the Box and it right away begins playing (it resembles a CD, it has a set list of what’s on it), and kids can quickly change in between tracks by striking the side of package. It’s so basic to run, they can utilize it individually by themselves. And the battery lasts 7 hours, so kids can bring it around all the time.

As quickly as my boy began having fun with the Toniebox, his tv viewing lessened. He likes playing the stories and having fun with his toys while he listens. Sometimes we bring the Box into the cooking area while we consume or listen to it while we go to sleep. Now all he does is discuss the Tonies he desires for Christmas– which really makes present offering for the year simple. Just get more Tonies.

There is simply one word of alerting I have for caretakers. Set up does take about 10 minutes in the app, so you may wish to do that before you turn over the Toniebox to your child. My young child was so restless (and thrilled), that he kept getting the instructions and setting it up took a bit longer than anticipated.

So, continue scrolling and have a look at the screen-free toy my boy is consumed with. It’s below $99 to $69 for the rest of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, so do not wait. Your child may like it, too.
