How would you respond if you were having a serene snooze in the sunlight, then all of a sudden woke up to being pushed by an enormous rhino?
Probably in a comparable method to this canine, who jumped up as if it had actually been poked with a firework.
It ran off down the roadway, while the rhino appeared unfazed and continued to silently stroll along.
Footage of the encounter went viral after it was shared on Twitter the other day by Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda.
He captioned it: ‘If you wanted any proof that the Rhinos are really gentle :)’
The video was shot in the town of Ratnagar in southernNepal
.
Greater one-horned rhinos reside in north-eastern India and southern Nepal, however poaching and environment loss indicate that there are now just around 3,700 left.
Luckily for the canine, all 5 types of rhinos are herbivores, consuming generally greenery.
So it wasn’t ever in threat of being consumed– though being rested on certainly would not have actually been enjoyable either.
