California will enforce a restricted stay-at-home order on specific areas of the state where Covid-19 cases are positioning a stress on extensive care systems, Gov. Gavin Newsom revealed Thursday.
The state will be divided into 5 areas — the Bay Area, Greater Sacramento, Northern California, San Joaquin Valley and Southern California. If the staying ICU capability in an area falls listed below 15%, it will activate a three-week stay-at-home order, Newsom stated.
The order would need bars, wineries, individual services, hairdresser and hair salons to briefly close. Personal services are companies like nail beauty salons, tattoo parlors and body waxing, according to the state’s site.
