    There are rows and rows of incomplete, run-down hotels near the eastern port city of Wonsan after building and construction work was deserted throughout the pandemic.

    Tourists were anticipated to flock to the beach resort for the summertime, however according to residents, it is now filled with poo and overtaken by the homeless.

    ‘The buildings are no different from toilets, with bowel movements left behind by the kkotjebi everywhere,’ a single person informed Daily NK, a paper based in South Korea.

    It is thought the resort got its western name after Kim Jong Un supposedly sent out a fact-finding objective to Spain’s Costa Blanca in 2017.

    But the totalitarian’s due date for conclusion was too enthusiastic, slipping from April to October 2019, and after that once again to April 2020 prior to work lastly ground to a stop throughout the pandemic.

    According to Daily NK, the routine approached home builders in late January asking what devices, products and workforce they would require to complete the task.

    But Mr Bogle worried there is no evidence yet of a last push to finish the resort.

    ‘There is no indication that construction will resume soon,’ he stated.
