OpenAI is dealing with a brand-new grievance to the Federal Trade Commission that advises the company to examine the group and suspend its business release of big language designs, including its newest version of the popular tool ChatGPT.

The grievance, revealed by the not-for-profit research study group Center for AI and Digital Policy on Thursday, implicates OpenAI of breaking Section 5 of the FTC Act, which forbids unreasonable and misleading company practices, and the company’s assistance for AI items.

CAIDP calls GPT-4 “biased, deceptive, and a risk to privacy and public safety.” The group states the big language design stops working to satisfy the company’s requirements for AI to be “transparent, explainable, fair, and empirically sound while fostering accountability.”
