It’s automated, it’s organized, it’s hydromatic– why it’s a Grease prequel series!
That’s right, Greasers: OnJan 31, Paramount+ revealed its brand-new initial series, Grease: Rise of the PinkLadies The musical series, composed and executive produced by Annabel Oakes, “happens 4 years prior to the initial Grease: In 1954 prior to rock ‘n’ roll ruled, prior to the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, 4 fed-up, castaways attempt to have a good time by themselves terms, stimulating an ethical panic that will alter Rydell High permanently,” according to the series description.
The Grace Gilroy and Alethea Jones— produced series stars Madison Thompson, understood for her function as Erin Pierce in Ozark, Jackie Hoffman, most just recently seen in Only Murders in the Building as Uma Heller, together with Marisa Davila, Tricia Fukuhara, Cheyenne Isabel Wells and Ari Notartomaso
The season will include 10 episodes and will be offered to stream on Paramount+ in 2022.
