PayPal will let you release a crowdfunding project for yourself, your neighborhood or a cause through a brand-new program called Generosity Network, the business stated Thursday. 

Campaigns can raise as much as $20,000 over a 30-day duration. 

“The Generosity Network was designed to provide an accessible, easy and secure way for our customers to raise money on behalf of causes, and connect them with millions of PayPal customers who can offer their support this holiday season and beyond,” PayPal’s vice president of providing, Oktay Dogramaci, stated in a declaration. 

PayPal mentions the financial difficulty caused by the coronavirus pandemic as a factor for producing the service. Any contributions made through Generosity Network projects are transferred straight into the organizer’s PayPal account. 

The statement comes simply ahead of Giving Tuesday, an occasion referred to as “a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
