    Aviation specialists stated airplanes losing tires is an unusual incident and not a sign of a bigger security concern.

    Alan Price, previous chief pilot for Delta Airlines stated: ‘In air travel, we never ever wish to have single points of failure if they can be prevented, and this is a case in point.

    ‘The staying tires are completely efficient in managing the load.

    Price stated a loose tire is generally an upkeep concern and not an issue produced by the maker.

    John Cox, a retired pilot and teacher of air travel security at the University of Southern California, concurred.

    He stated: ‘I don’ t see any effect for Boeing as it was a United upkeep group that altered the tire.’
