To launching its spring/summer 2023 collection throughout Milan Fashion Week, the Italian label chose to take advantage of creepy season early, as designs traipsed down the runway in scary phony lashes that totally covered their eyes.
The falsies were not just put in a downward-facing instructions however they were so long, they grazed the designs’ cheekbones, developing a dark shadow that just contributed to the scary aspect. If anything, they appeared like haunted dolls or like spitting pictures of the lady from the 2004 scary flick, The Grudge
While the designs’ eyes were most definitely eye-catching, the rest of their makeup was natural-looking– not an insane lip, vibrant eye shadow or heavy shape in sight.
And makeup artist Pat McGrath meant for it to be that method.
